Ingredients:

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

  • Whisk
  • Spatula
  • 8x8 inch baking pan
  • Oven

Instructions:

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the melted butter and sugar, and mix well.
  • Add the eggs and vanilla extract to the mixture, and stir until combined.
  • In another bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, and salt.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  • Fold in the chocolate chips.
  • Pour the batter into a greased 8x8 inch baking pan and spread evenly.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  • Let cool before cutting into squares and serving.
